William R. “Rick” Bryant

May 5, 1952 – January 17, 2011

William R. “Rick” Bryant, husband, father, brother, and dear friend departed this life January 17, 2011.  He had been valiantly fighting a severe liver illness with determination and optimism.

Rick was born May 5, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky to Bill and Jean Bryant, graduated from Pleasure Ridge Park High School in Louisville, and was a successful business owner of Bryant Custom Concrete. He married Twyla Marie Joyal on July 23, 2007.

He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Twyla; a son, Rick Jr. [now deceased]; and sisters, Brenda and Becky.

Rick’s passion was his love for life. He generously gave his friendship, love, time, a listening ear, and was a true blessing to others. He laughed easily and with a full heart. Rick led a life of love, hope, courage, happiness, and loyalty, and will remain in the hearts of many.
